Getting fit & healthy doesn’t just mean spending hours in the gym. We’ll be making the most of the beautiful Spanish scenery & climate for this Yoga & Fitness holiday as we take many of the activities in to the great outdoors to boost the ‘feel good’ factor of exercising and being outside in gorgeous, sunny weather.
Join us for us for Yoga, Pilates, cardio boost & body strengthening sessions, guided mountain hike, guided bike ride and uber delicious healthy food. And, when you’re ready for a little R&R you can flop on a lounger by the pool, pamper yourself with Spa treatments, take a snooze in your spacious suite, enjoy some aqua therapy in the thermal circuit (due to open in 2017) or, head to one of the onsite gyms.
Yoga is fantastic at creating a strong, flexible body but when paired with cardio boosting & body toning sessions, you have an excellent & complete fitness programme for the heart, lungs and major muscles groups. The perfect Yoga & Fitness Retreat!
Don’t worry, you don’t have to do everything nor do you need to be super fit to join us! Our instructors are here to inspire you to find your boundaries .. not push you beyond them.

You’ll be staying at a purpose built Health & Spa Resort, 40 minutes north of Alicante on the outskirts of the town of La Nucia. The resort opened in 2009 with one aim in mind – to provide a special place where guests can achieve optimal lifestyle skills through good nutrition, exercise, complementary & conventional medicine, stress management & personal development services.
On site fitness facilities are superb and include; a 12.5m indoor pool, an infrared sauna, outdoor lagoon pool with sunbathing terraces, a multi-purpose ball court and two gyms – one with free weights & cardio machines and the other with weight-assisted isokinetic machines to sculpt and tone all muscles in a 30 minute circuit. There’s also a yoga & Pilates studio, peaceful meditation room and a Spa that offers pampertastic facials, massages & body treatments. In early 2017 it is planned there will also be an indoor thermal Spa with jacuzzi, steam room and ice plunge pool.
Every guest will have their own spacious suite equipped with double or twin bedroom, ensuite bathroom, a comfortable lounge with international TV, free WiFi, air-con, safety deposit, a maid service and a bijoux kitchen .. not that you’ll be cooking as this retreat includes all your healthy & nutritious meals.
We also have a small number of two-bedroomed suites so if you’re thinking of bringing & sharing with a friend, let us know & we’ll allocate one of these larger suites to you. Extra nights after retreat are also available.
Each day includes at least one class of yoga and/or Pilates suitable for keen beginners & intermediate yogi’s. The Pilates sessions are mat based & focus on strengthening key structural muscles, the yoga sessions combine the deep stretches of Hatha yoga and the warming flow of Vinyasa together with restorative Yin yoga too. There’ll also be a meditation workshop where you’ll sample various mind & body calming techniques.
Our teaching style is relaxed but precise. There’s no pressure to be perfect nor is there any room for ego, as that’s not what we’re about. What’s more important to us is that you pay attention to how the yoga & Pilates ‘feel’ in your body. It doesn’t matter what other people are doing around you, just work with what you have. Be patient, keep practicing and your body will open up & let you back in.
To complement the yoga & Pilates programme, our personal trainer has devised a series of energising & motivational group training sessions to boost your cardio fitness and strengthen/tone your entire body. Every major muscle will be worked using a mixture of weights, bands & your own body strength. You’ll be encouraged to choose a level that suits your strength & stamina.
In addition to daily Yoga, Pilates and Fitness Training sessions your retreat also includes a guided mountain hike, bike ride and unlimited use of the two onsite gyms, two pools, sauna and – opening 2017 – indoor thermal Spa.
Remember, all activities are optional – it’s your holiday – do as you wish. You’ll be encouraged to go at a pace suitable for you as our instructors are here to inspire you to challenge your boundaries, not push you beyond them.
You’ll eat supremely well on this holiday. As all meals are included we’ll make sure your body is flooded with tasty healthy & nutritionally balanced meals based using locally sourced produce.
